Lawrence Medical, the creator and developer of the MoveAround IV Buggy is a family-owned business. The buggy was inspired by Ralph Lawrence’s granddaughter Autumn. While being treated for infant leukemia, Ralph noticed her IV therapy was causing her a lack of mobility.  As Grandpa Ralph watched her struggle, he designed and built a basic “little shopping cart” that enabled her to move around with not only her IV pole, tubes, bags and pumps, but her toys and small stuffed animals as well.  

 

In the truest sense of the term, the rest is history. Today, the Lawrence family is well on their way to being known as the most respected supplier of American made IV buggies in the world.
