The Lawrence family is filled with entrepreneurs. They are ambitious people who identify problems, and then with initiative and passion, come up with solutions. Lawrence Medical is the latest Lawrence family endeavor. The MoveAround IV Buggy was created by Ralph Lawrence to solve his granddaughter Autumn’s mobility difficulties following her bone marrow transplant to treat infant leukemia. Ralph drew on his 40-year career at Norton Company and Hyde Tools to help him, his son Marc, and daughter-in-law Carlene conceive, design, patent, manufacture and market the MoveAround IV Buggy. Management of Lawrence Medical is shared by Ralph, Marc and Carlene.
